The Beginnings

The album Glory Bound, officially began coming to life in September 2018.  After a successful recording session of what became known as Going To The Top, lead guitarist Dan C Jr. instantly went to work to record a total of 15 demos. Once the demos were recorded, Dan met up with another local musician, Chris Smith.  With Chris on board the two started to finalize the setlist, and began to form a band with area musicians. The final song on "Glory Bound" called Waiting, is actually a piece of music that Dan and a friend from Germany named Paul, wrote in 2011.  Because of Paul's contribution, the band had a completed setlist.  You rock Paul! Dankeschön!!  So at this point, Chris recorded vocals for Going To The Top and Dan sent that track to friends of his, who run The Record Label based out of London, UK, who are music producers and members of the band Black Orchid Empire.  They loved the song and wanted to produce the song with high quality music production skills.  After receiving the mix of Going To The Top, the band decided that they wanted the crew in London to produce the album.    Needless to say, Paul, Joe and Dave made our vision a reality.  Thank You all for your hard work!!!  After many months of recording, the album was near completion, Chris thought of a band name that just clicked.  They chose the name Glory Bound, and decided to name the first album in correspondence with the newly titled band.
